Hello BBBB Friends:
And we are back this week with more new and interesting listings. I’m featuring 4 this week. As always, keep scrolling down for price improvements, new contracts, and final sales for those homes that are Still on My List.
BTW- I hope you enjoyed the ice cream issue last week. I’m told that there was a run on the pistachio ice cream at Dolce Neve Gelato but I’ve been assured they will be making more this week! (If you missed my rundown of ice cream shops in the Heights, click HERE.

The Week’s Featured Properties
1107 Tabor: $625,000
- Brooke Smith
- Craftsman bungalow c. 2014 by Wiseman Builders
- 3/2, 1588 sq ft on 5000 sq ft lot
- Updated in 2018
- Nice size kitchen with plenty of counter space
- Primary bedroom with tray ceilings
- Covered back porch, small yard with patio, and artificial turf in rear
- Driveway access with auto-gate to 1-car detached “garport”
- Curbed street
- Zoned to Browning Elementary
This is a very nice recent construction bungalow. I love the transoms above the doors and the blue cabinets in the kitchen and primary bath. The curbed and guttered street is uncommon in Brooke Smith and enhances the streetscape.

- Garage Apt/Treehouse (380 sq ft, efficiency, kitchenette & full bath)
- Driveway access with auto-gate to porte-cochere & 2-car carport
- Zoned to Browning Elementary
The “treehouse” is a 2-car carport with an apartment upstairs. The wood walls of the apartment create a mountain home/rustic feel. Note that this home is located in the 100-yr floodplain and adjacent to the floodway, however, this house was built 2 feet above the then Houston guidelines and did not flood in Harvey.
