Meet Ray & Mary Dee

Ray Holtzapple

Ray has extensive knowledge of the River Oaks, West University, Memorial and the Memorial Villages areas with over 30 years of experience in these Houston neighborhoods. In addition, he has been active in the Woodlands and Pearland and Clear Lake/ Friendswood and Cinco Ranch areas with his relocation Clients. Ray has been very involved in the Houston Area Community through his previous participation on the Ballet and SPA Boards, Baylor College of Medicine Advocacy Board with the Breast Center. He's currently the Co-Chair of the Dan Duncan Cancer Center Advocacy Board. Ray’s involvement in the community has proven extremely import in assisting his Relocation Clients getting quickly settled into and active in their new community.

Ray has unique knowledge of Real Estate Property Tax issues gained while formally representing the City of Houston on the Harris County Appraisal Board of Directors. He annually conducts a podcast for our Group on Current Tax Issues and the most useful information to file a protest. Real estate taxes are a major cost of home ownership and it never gets cheaper!

Ray maintains his Texas Professional Engineers license and has earned designations as a Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) and At Home with Diversity (AHWD). He also brings to his clients, practical experience in lending, home construction and remodeling. Ray is also a licensed Property Tax Consulate.

He has academic achievements with a degree as a Chemical Engineer and a Masters in Business Administration focusing on Finance. Before entering his 30 plus year career in Real Estate, Ray was VP of Finance and CFO of several project entities in the Electric Power and Gas Pipeline industries.

With this broad knowledge and years of working with International Clients, Ray is focused on making every Real Estate transaction a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Mary Dee Neal

Mary Dee is a native Houstonian with 40+ years’ experience in Residential sales and leasing. Specializing in River Oaks, West University, Tanglewood, Memorial and Medical Center areas. Top Producer Award winner for multi-million dollar production at Heritage Texas Properties. She has earned the designations for Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) and Accredited Buyer Representation (REBAC).

Mary Dee is active in the Houston Community through her involvement in the Advocacy Board for the Dan Duncan Cancer Center, Houston Ballet Guild, Houston Symphony League, Houston Food Bank and her KKG Alumni group. For her service to the Community, she was the recipient of the John E Wolf Citizen Award from the Houston Association of REALTORS®.

Her academic achievements include both an undergraduate and Master’s degrees in Spanish. Prior to entering the Real Estate field, she work in the consular core at the Embassy in Madrid, Spain and was a Spanish teacher.

Mary Dee has extensive experience in probate, estates, trusts and tenant-occupied and vacant properties. She has been involved in High Rise sales since the initial years of construction and has extensive knowledge of layouts and lifestyle features for the diverse offerings.
