In a pleasant coincidence, Queen Anne style homes rule this week’s featured listings. Common features in a Queen Anne bungalow include a steep roof with a prominent gable or dormer, asymmetrical front façade and an expansive full-width or wraparound porch. Although not evident in today’s selections, Queen Anne bungalows may also feature bay windows and/or a turret to give the house a castle-like appearance.
Listing activity was lackluster this week but weekly sales (new contracts) were back up resulting in a decline in available inventory. To see status changes for homes that are Still on My List including price changes, new contracts and final sales, keep scrolling down!
NEVER MISS RECYCLING AND BIG TRASH DAYS AGAIN 🚮
Last month the City of Houston rolled out HTX Collects, a new mobile app designed to help Houston residents keep track of weekly waste and recycling services, updates, and collection delays. The app will serve to replace the Rollout! app.
HTX Collects will include collection reminders for garbage, recycling, yard waste, and tree/junk waste specific to a resident’s service address. The mobile app will also send a reminder to residents of their collection days. HTX Collects app is now available for both iPhones and Android devices and can be downloaded via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Click HERE for links to the App.
