Becky's Best Bungalow Bets for May 27, 2024: Basically Bungalows

Hello BBBB Friends:

Happy Memorial Day. The past week’s events still seem surreal, but the damage is still all too evident. I was so impressed by how neighbors jumped in to help neighbors, from providing charging stations to welding chain saws. Thanks to everyone who lent a hand to a neighbor.

Today’s featured properties are all bungalows, each with its own unique appeal. From authentic designs to high-end finishes, these homes cater to various tastes. Whether you prefer classic details or modern luxuries, there’s something here for everyone.

Since we have been off for a couple of weeks, I have a number of updates for you. There have been only a few price reductions, but there have been many final sales. Please keep scrolling down to see price reductions, new contracts, and final sales for homes that are Still on My List.

The Height real estate market continued to roll in April with a 26% gain in available inventory and 12% more homes sold than in the same period last year.  Prices continued to increase, with an average sales price of $874,181 (15.7% higher than last April). (Just as a reference point, the average sales price for the Houston Metro area is $437,197.)  Forty-six percent of April sales occurred within the first 7 days of listing and commanded a list-to-sale price of 100-103%. Overall, the median close price to list price ratio was 99.8 percent.

Have a great week, and,

Let’s look at houses or talk about selling yours!
