It is Spring selling season, and my companion blog, “Still On My List,” is getting smaller and smaller! “Still On My List” is an account of homes that I have previously featured but are still available or under contract. Today I am featuring five new listings, but be sure to keep scrolling down for price improvements, new contracts, and final sales for those homes that are Still on My List.

WHAT IS AN IKE?

Meet our new Heights neighbors, the IKEs (Interactive Kiosk Experiences). These kiosks, which look like huge double-sided iPads, are arriving in the area as part of the IKE Smart City initiative approved by City Council last year, and they are being installed all around town. The first ones you’ll see pop up in the Heights starting this week are located at W 19th & Ashland, W 19th & Rutland, W 11th & Heights, Yale & W 7th, and Heights Blvd & W 7th.

Each IKE is situated in the public right-of-way, meaning not on private property or sidewalks/trails, and they are meant to be useful platforms for residents and visitors alike to find their way to local businesses, get helpful info like transit schedules, and even feel an additional safety presence with an emergency call button. They also have public wifi with a range of about 100′.
