Hello BBBB Friends:
The Heights saw a significant surge in new listings and sales this week. I’ve narrowed the list of new properties to five of the most interesting. I also have quite a number of new contracts and final sales to report from those homes that are Still on My List. To see the changes, keep scrolling down.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS-YOU ARE INVITED!
Join us on March 25 for a unique experience at the Skyfarm at POST Houston (401 Franklin St, Houston 77201) the largest rooftop farm in Texas. We have a special inside connection to Skyfarm, so we are extending the opportunity for you, family, and friends to leave your mark on this community garden like no other in the state. As our valued guests, we have arranged for a private tour and volunteer day where you can contribute to this exceptional community garden. Whether you wish to get your hands dirty or simply enjoy a tour with cookies and lemonade, we welcome you to be a part of this exclusive event. There will also be an opportunity for you to “Ask the Farmer” for guidance on your personal gardening endeavors. Take advantage of this unique chance to gain insights and tips from an expert while you enjoy your time at Skyfarm.
About Skyfarm: Located at the heart of Houston, the Skyfarm at POST Houston is a remarkable one-acre rooftop food farm and an integral part of Skylawn, a 5.5-acre adaptive reuse project of the former Barbara Jordan US Post Office. The Skyfarm sets an example for the potential of rooftop soil cultivation and urban agriculture supported by the community. It is a project of the Blackwood Educational Land Institute, a non-profit organization that operates a 33-acre teaching farm in Waller County and embodies its innovative approach to sustainable agriculture.
Have a great week and,
Let’s look at houses or talk about selling yours!
