Becky's Best Bungalow Bets for Mar 10, 2024: Fresh 5 + Springing Forward

Hello BBBB Friends:

With daylight savings time rolling in, it’s not just the clocks moving forward—it’s the real estate market, too! The past two weeks have brought a welcome surge of new home listings. Today, I’m featuring five fresh listings offering diverse architectural styles. Charming bungalows, a Victorian residence, a sleek contemporary mid-century modern home, and a creatively repurposed church are among them. As always, please keep scrolling down to see price reductions, new contracts, and final sales for homes that are Still on My List.

Get ready to step into the charm of Houston’s vibrant neighborhoods with not one, but two exciting home tours coming your way!

First, mark your calendars for the Woodland Heights Civic Association’s “Homes with Heart” themed home tour on March 23rd and 24th from noon to 5:30 p.m. each day. This year’s tour features seven homes, ranging from cozy bungalows to expanded originals. Ticket prices are $35 the day of or $30 in advance.

Next up, The Houston Heights Association will present its 2024 Spring Home & Garden Tour on April 13th and 14th. Doors open from noon to 6 p.m. each day. The event features a tour of six unique homes celebrating the area’s architectural variety. The ticket price is $35, sold online only.

Have a great week, and,

Let’s look at houses or talk about selling yours!

In 2010 a new owner took the reins, transforming the space into a microcinema and event venue. Today, while the residence functions as an Airbnb, 14 Pews continues to engage audiences with its eclectic programming. The plan is for 14 Pews to remain open with its scheduled programming until the sale.
