Hello BBBB Friends:
The state of the real estate market in Houston Heights in the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl is akin to navigating traffic when a semi has jackknifed on the freeway. The chaos and slowdown are palpable. Since the first band of Beryl’s rains hit Houston, only one home has gone under contract. This staggering halt is a testament to the storm’s immediate impact and ongoing issues with electric outages. While there wasn’t much home shopping going on this week, listing activity, though not robust, was sufficient for me to find seven homes to feature for you today. Today’s highlights include a range of price points, Heights neighborhoods, and building styles, from charming Craftsman bungalows and historic homes to contemporary builds and luxury residences. Whether you’re looking for a cozy starter home or a spacious family abode, this week’s selection has something for everyone.
Additionally, I have updates for homes that are Still on My List, including price reductions, new contracts, and finalized sales. Be sure to keep scrolling down to see them all.
Have a great week, and,
Let’s look at houses or talk about selling yours!
