Hello BBBB Friends:
What a crazy week! While temperatures outside have been chilly, the real estate market is as hot as it can be with limited inventory. If this week is anything to go by, the Spring selling season is starting early this year. Time will tell… I have four new listings to share with you today! Keep scrolling down to see price changes, new contracts, and final sales for homes that are Still on My List.
HEIGHTS REAL ESTATE NUMBERS THAT MAKE US HAPPY
If you are new to BBBB for the new year, I hope you can already tell that it is more than a real estate newsletter. We are proud to say that both home buyers and sellers look to us just as much for neighborhood updates and deep market insights as they do to see what’s on the market.
Ringing in a new year also gives us the opportunity to look back comprehensively at the year before to see what wins we can all build upon going forward. As year-end market and sales stats were released and we dug into them to prepare a comprehensive market report to share with you in the weeks to come, there were a few figures that made us perk up in particular.
While we are certainly proud of how our own sales stacked up in one of the trickiest real estate markets in the country, we are especially glad to see numbers supporting a strong, balancing real estate market despite the headlines of a market-wide year-over-year sales drop in 2022 for the first time in a while.
It goes without saying that a little more inventory would take us a long way in easing price increases, but overall and especially in the luxury market, there are plenty of reasons to be excited about 2023.
Last but not least, we have YOU and other BBBB readers to thank for continuing to keep our quirky little digest in your back pocket as you shop or survey the market. We hope it also goes without saying that you can always reach out for an even deeper, more tailored dive into what these numbers can mean for you.
Here’s to more win-wins in 2023!
