Hello BBBB Friends:

The number of new listings and new contracts in the Heights for single-family homes doubled over last week. Hallelujah! However, we still have just 1.5 months of inventory. This means that at the average monthly sales pace, all of the currently available properties would be sold in 1.5 months if no new properties were listed. I’m just happy to have more choices this week.

I am featuring 5 new listings, all under $1 million. I also have several price changes, a bunch of new contracts, and two final sales to report from among homes that are Still on My List so be sure to keep scrolling down to see all of the updates.

2022 ECONOMIC FORECAST 🔮

According to a survey of more than 20 top U.S. economic and housing experts by the National Association of Realtors, we should expect slower housing price appreciation, easing inflation, and rising interest rates in 2022:

    • 3.5%-4% Predicted Interest Rate
  • Expect Decelerated Rate of Inflation
    • 6.8% Inflation Rate in 2021
    • 4% Predicted Inflation Rate in 2022
  • Slowing Housing Price Appreciation
    • 17.4% Price Appreciation in 2021
    • 5.7% Predicted Price Appreciation in 2022
