Hello BBBB Friends:
Happy Super Bowl Sunday! Fun facts:
- Fifty (50) years ago, Super Bowl 8 was played in Houston at Rice Stadium. The ticket price was only $15 ($93 in today’s dollars). The average price per ticket for today’s Super Bowl LVIII is $8600. Talk about inflation!
- The Super Bowl is the second-highest eating day for Americans behind Thanksgiving and the top-selling weekend for alcohol. According to various sources, 325 million gallons of beer are consumed on Super Bowl Sunday.
- The name “Super Bowl” was given to the championship by Kansas City Chiefs owner Lamar Hunt before the first game in 1967. The name is thought to have been inspired by the popular toy of the time, the “Super Ball.” (Sorry kids, today’s Super Ball is smaller and doesn’t bounce as high!)
Today, I am featuring four new listings. As always, please keep scrolling down to see price reductions, new contracts, and final sales for those homes that are Still on My List.
Have a great week, and,
Let’s look at houses or talk about selling yours!
