Hello BBBB Friends:
The week before school starts is usually slow for real estate and this past week was no exception. I have a short list of new listings to share with you. Be sure to keep scrolling down for price improvements, new contracts, and final sales for those homes that are Still on My List.
STORMY WEATHER AHEAD
This week will mark five years since Hurricane Harvey dumped 50 inches of rain on the Houston area. If you were in Houston at the time, you may still be experiencing PTSD with every rain storm that floods the city streets. While the 2022 storm season has been quiet so far, experts are still predicting an above-normal hurricane season. It’s good to remember that Hurricanes Ike, Harvey, Rita, and Alicia all hit Houston in mid-August or later. Hurricane season officially ends November 30.
Is your flood insurance in force? Remember, it takes 30 days for new policies to go into effect. An exception to the 30-day rule is made for homebuyers who are financing their home. If you are paying cash, the 30-day waiting period still applies.
Let’s go look at houses or talk about selling yours!!!
